Mike and I decided to take advantage of the points we had purchased through our new timeshare deal and book a weekend at one of our favorite escapes -- Williamsburg, Virginia. It was the perfect time of year to go, not too hot and not too cold, plus vacation season was over since school was back in session so that meant less crowds. We wanted to just get away for a few days and not have any demands. So this was the perfect solution. We loaded Catelyn into the car and made the 3 1/2 hour trip down there. We had a nice little suite to stay in, with a mini kitchen so we could eat some meals in our unit.
There was also a great little pond next to the building so we gathered up some slices of bread and took Catelyn down to feed the ducks. As soon as the ducks saw Mike and Catelyn coming they made a waddling beeline towards the two of them. I think this excitement frightened Catelyn a bit, so she chose to feed them from the safety of daddy's arms. I love the shot I got of the two of them posing for the camera together.....
