Two of her favorite things to do were chase Jen's friend's dog around (he's a little sheep-herding dog so she enjoyed being able to play with something smaller than she is!) and she loved to dig in the dirt. Have I said yet that she is totally an outdoorsy girl?! :)

Barnyard Baby
My best friend Jen (also known as Catelyn's "Auntijen") occasionally house/horse/dog-sits for one of her friends who lives near us. On this particular visit, we brought Catelyn with us to meet the horses for the first time. She loved them from afar, but was not happy when they came near us to go into the stable for the night. She kept pointing at the stalls and saying "horsey nigh night." She desperately wanted them away from her and safely behind closed doors. Once they were in their respective stalls, she was happy to talk to them and even feed them each a carrot. She is quite the animal lover -- at least in most situations!
