A Day for Baby Boy Smith

Sarah's best friend Rachel is having her first baby -- a little boy due at the end of July! With the help of Rachel's sister-in-law (and Sarah's good friend) Kelly, a baby shower was thrown in honor of Rachel's bun-in-the-oven on May 10. Catelyn was able to join the festivities because there were several other children set to attend. Kelly's two little girls Lauren and Olivia (seen in the fourth photo below, along with Aunt Rachel) are Catelyn's newest friends -- they are both so good to her and keep her amused and having fun. The kids had a blast in the play room while the adults took turns participating in the shower and monitoring the little ones. At one point they piled all of the stuffed animals in the middle of the floor and had fun diving in and rolling around (last photo below). When Catelyn decided to take a break from playing, she came in the family room where the party was going on and helped Aunt Rachel open her presents. She was particularly interested in the frog scoop for the bath tub! (third photo) Catelyn left the party that evening with several new friends and a lot of energy lost. It was a great party!

Catelyn also enjoyed helping momma bake for the party -- you'll see her in the first two photos below with cake batter all over her face, and a smile to match!
