Assateague Island -- A Couple of "Firsts"

Here are a few other photos from our Assateague Island trip that we wanted to include on Catelyn's blog. They have to do with some more of our little girl's "firsts."

The camp site that we stayed at had different activities going on while we were there -- one of them being a hay ride. Daddy had the honor of taking Catelyn on her very first ride in the back of a hay wagon. He said that she sat very still for the ride -- I guess she was taking in all of the excitement! (You'll see her in the third picture with her little head peeking up over the edge of the wagon.)

Another one of Catelyn's "firsts" was roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. She again took part in this activity with a very serious nature, like she was savoring every bite of this yummy, gooey treat. She eventually passed up the graham crackers and marshmallows and let daddy know she was just interested in the chocolate! (A girl after momma's own heart....)
