Catelyn -- The Mini Bride

We were so blessed to be able to fly out to Oklahoma again this year for Mike's stepbrother's wedding on December 21. He and his wife-to-be Bethany had asked if Catelyn could be in the wedding, as a "mini-bride" if you will. Catelyn was to walk down the aisle with Bethany's little nephew who was just a few months younger than Catelyn. She had the most gorgeous little dress to wear (courtesy of Aunt Bethany) and a cute red bow to wear in her hair that her Aunt Missy made just for her. She made her momma cry because she looked like such a grown up little girl -- their baby is just growing too fast!

Catelyn had a lot of fun during the rehearsal though, and was enjoying her walk down the aisle (even if she did stop along the way to admire a particular pew or play with her shoes). Afterwards, it was decided that Sarah would carry Catelyn down the aisle for the wedding because the other little boy was shy and they weren't quite sure how the two would do in front of the crowd. The wedding went very well and was quite beautiful. The children behaved very well and they had a lot of fun -- they reminded us just how lucky we are to have been blessed with such wonderful little human beings.
