She is still eating very well and experiencing new tastes. Some of her new favorite things are homemade zucchini bread and chicken and black beans. She is also quite the master of her sippy cup and even holds onto the handles with her little pinkie fingers sticking up (quite cute!). She really enjoys putting Momma's sunglasses on too and making a game of it -- guess we'll have to get her a pair of her very own soon!
Catelyn also got to experience our local Renaissance Festival this month. It is quite an event and is a big hit in our area. They set up a little "town" from the Renaissance Era, with jousting events, and shows, and actors/actresses dressed up in garments from the age-appropriate time and you just walk around and take in all of the sights. Catelyn had a great time watching all of the people mill around and she especially enjoyed walking along the little boardwalk they had and watching an older gentleman play his harp. She topped off the day with a special treat -- she took a bite of Momma's chocolate-dipped cheesecake! And boy, did she love that chocolate! (photo below)
