The Eighth Month (7 Months Old)

We were able to fly back home to see Mike's family again, which was such a blessing. Now Catelyn has been back home twice -- once when she was five months old and again when she was seven months old. We wish we could go visit every few months like that more often!

Catelyn did beautifully on all of the flights and is a true traveler now. She was able to attend two weddings while we were there. Mike's stepsister got married the first weekend, and then his best friend got married the following weekend. She partied hard during the celebrations, and ended up crashing during the reception of the second wedding, as you'll see below in one of the photos. Grandma Sharon got to hold the tired princess, who slept away even as the band blasted their tunes!

Catelyn was able to spend lots of time playing with her cousins, who she just simply adores. She loved hanging out with them and really got a good laugh out of their antics. It was especially fun to see her with the cousin who is closest to her age -- Adriana who was just three months old at the time. They got to take baths in Grandma's kitchen sink together and dress up in matching outfits. They were too cute together! Catelyn was showered with love and affection from all of her relatives while we were there, and we are reminded just how lucky we are to have such a wonderful family.
