The Third Month (2 Months Old)

Catelyn proves to grow more and more every day! Now in her third month of life, Catelyn weighs in at 13 pounds! She is healthy, and happy, and just loving life. Catelyn got to see her first snow on January 18th. Although it was only a dusting, it was still exciting! She was also dedicated to the Lord at our church home, Calvary Gospel, on February 4th. She was a perfect angel and we think she loved being the center of attention!

Sarah went back to work the day after Catelyn's two month birthday -- January 16 -- so that was an adjustment for everyone. Thankfully she is only working part time, so Momma and baby get to spend a lot of bonding time together (which Sarah absolutely loves!). Daddy gets to be at home with his little girl at least one of the days that Momma is at work, so they get to play together and have a great time. She's definitely a daddy's girl!

She is really starting to express herself now, with more smiles, and even some laughter. She really is experimenting with her vocal cords! Catelyn also got to celebrate her first Valentine's day, and had a special outfit to wear on that day -- heart on the butt and all! As you'll see in the picture below, she was even testing out her strength that day and trying to stand! She really just can't wait to get up and go. We wouldn't be surprised if she just skipped crawling altogether and went straight to walking!
